The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unjustified” travel bans imposed by the US on five Europeans working on fighting online hate and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson has said.

EU Officials Decry US Move as ‘Coercion’

Officials from Europe including the French president charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans were placed on figures that were central to efforts to introduce legislation governing US-based technology firms.
