Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Your Season 2 Predictions — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel debuts on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been intense.

Season 1 presents a large cast of personalities living within the afterlife, pits them against each other accompanied by songs about their clashes, and establishes heated competitions and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for the new season differ greatly, but certain themes recur frequently: Will a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the creator commented earlier this year. "However I feel like me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She says her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by the production companies, which finance the series.

That might mean viewers have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they could be shocked at how quickly season 2 moves, and how many of what they're anticipating happens now.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "There are several debut moments. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

The creator is well-informed of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — especially in the format of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a few fans create a bingo card about season 2," she mentions. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've already completed a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on Prime Video on October 29.
